Heuge Matcha Bowl — Mino Ware by CHIPS
The Heuge collection takes its name from hyogemono — a Japanese word for objects with quiet charm, things that earn their place through character rather than perfection. Made in Mino, where Japanese pottery has been shaped for over a thousand years, this bowl is thrown by hand using coarse clay and the Setoguro glaze — a deep, lacquer-like black with a history stretching back to the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Because the glaze is deliberately unpredictable — prone to dripping, pooling, and developing fine surface cracks over time — no two bowls are the same. The bowl you receive will be entirely its own.
